The dandelion is considered a weed. An inconvenient eye sore. However, when looked at through the lens of a child, it takes on a new meaning. When a child looks at a dandelion they see something beautiful. They see a gift for a loved one, a wish to be made and a toy to play with. A beautiful yellow field to frolic and play amongst, and hours spent looking for that perfect white fluffy one to blow into the wind. To me, dandelions are the most resilient and beautiful flower there is. They demonstrate growth despite adversity and continue to grow in abundance. They continue to transform and grow, to become a better version of themselves. Sometimes taking a step back and looking at the world through the lens of a child can be an eye opening experience. My hope is to help all of my clients and families increase their resiliency, understand their own beauty and worth and flourish.
